How to stifle innovation
If you have a team that is eager to solve problems and do stuff, you need to clear their way. Don’t put bureaucratic processes and other roadblocks in front of them. Sure, things can’t be a free for all, and there are problems you should avoid by having processes, but you should limit them as much as you can.
Don’t blindly forbid people from doing stuff - restrict dangerous things in places where they could do a lot of harm, but let there be freedom in the rest.
